Abia Assembly Speaker Promises Portable Water To Abia Community

Abia Assembly Speaker,

The Speaker Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji has promised immediate drilling of borehole in Umuohu Ndume in Umuahia North LGA in order to address the challenges of portable water in the community.

Umuohu is one of the communities under the constituency of the Abia State House of Assembly Speaker.

According to Rt. Hon. Orji, the drilling of a community water borehole which will commence next week will be reticulated round the village on completion to enable the community members have access to portable water.

Rt. Hon. Orji who was in the community to rejoice with the family of Mr & Mrs Uche Nwabuisi as they dedicate their son, Master Michael Uchechukwu Nwabuisi to God.

According to the Abia Number III citizen, his presence at the event was propelled by the loyalty and Mr. Nwabuisi’s commitment to good causes over the years.

This is even as he urged his host to remain steadfast and resolute.

Mr Nwabuisi lauded the Speaker for coming to celebrate with his family and for the promise of potable water to the community.

In a related development, the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Orji also paid visit to the country home of Mr & Mrs Ogbonna Okechukwu in Azueke Ahiaeke, Umuahia North LGA where he joined them to celebrate the dedication of their daughter, little Miss Chikamara Mitchel Ogbonna to God.

The Speaker said children are wonderful gifts from God and that the arrival of a new born baby is always exciting because they represent life, hope and the promise of love.

“I pray that your new born baby will continue to grow in grace and wisdom”, the Speaker said.
