- Mr Speaker and his Honourable Colleagues have been distributing substantial palliatives to their respective constituents to help cushion the effects of restrictions necessitated by COVID-19 lockdown in the State
- These palliative materials by Members of the Abia State House of Assembly included hundreds of bags of rice, bags of beans, bags of garri, tubers of yam, cartons of noodles, hand sanitizers, face masks, cash among others distributed to the needy and vulnerable in their respective constituencies through churches, mosques, charity organizations, communities, women and youth groups etc
- The Lawmakers under the able and dynamic leadership of the Speaker, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, have been working in close collaboration with the Executive Arm of Government providing the necessary legislative interventions to further boost the State Government’s fight against COVID-19
