Efforts to know the content of the agreement reached by the joint committee failed as Obigwe insisted that it will be made public on Monday after they had met with the state governor.

He assured that the leadership of the workers unions will ensure that the interest of its members would be accommodated.

Recall that while inaugurating the 16-man committee which has the State Head of Service, Sir Onyi Wamah as Chairman, at Government House, Umuahia, Governor Ikpeazu had urged them to see it as part of their responsibility to look into the issue of ghost workers and the padding of salaries which to a large extent make the wage bill too heavy and unrealistic and recommend ways of finding lasting solutions to them.
