The leadership of the political advocacy group, OKAY A NEW NIGERIA, has begun early groundwork for the 2027 general elections with a high-level courtesy visit to Engr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Vice Presidential Candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, at his Abuja residence.

The delegation, led by National Coordinator Hon. Chibuisi Mba, said the visit was to formally congratulate Kwankwaso and to unveil the group’s campaign strategy ahead of the electioneering season.

Addressing newsmen after the meeting, Hon. Mba disclosed that OKAY A NEW NIGERIA has set an ambitious target of mobilizing over 10 million votes for the Obi/Kwankwaso ticket in 2027.

He described the proposed alliance as “the movement Nigerians have been waiting for” and said the group will focus on grassroots sensitization, voter education, and youth engagement across the 36 states and FCT.

“We came to intimate His Excellency on our plans and to seek his guidance,” Mba said. “Nigerians are tired of the old order.

Our mandate is to ensure that competent, people-oriented leadership emerges in 2027, and we believe the Obi/Kwankwaso ticket represents that hope.”
