A delegation of Abia State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Women Leaders of various local government areas of the state led by the State Woman Leader Chief Mrs. Ori Obasi have visited the State Leader of the Party in the State HE Dr Orji Uzor Kalu (MON) at his Asokoro residence.
The visit, infonet9ja.com gathered to enquire about the recovery process of Kalu who was rumoured to have feared dead, according to some online medium.
Orji Kalu who recently underwent series of medical operations in Germany have remained indoors since his return.
The women stated that they were astounded when some online blogs carried news that Kalu was dead and that the person that returned from Germany was not the former Abia governor, but a cloned Gambian citizen.
They said that the way the news was being flown around the state, especially by the ruling party in the state who are reportedly scared about the candidature of Kalu’s senatorial ambition in Abia North.
The women stated that they decided to come to Abuja to verify the truth behind the news flying around in the state.
While wishing the Abia North APC senatorial candidate quick recovery, assured him of their support, stating that they were going back to Abia to inform Abians that Kalu is alive and concerned about delivering President Buhari and ensuring that Abia is APC state come 2019.
