A Mexican Mayor has reportedly married a female allegator in a celebrated marriage ceremony in Mexico.
Onlookers at the event which has set the social media buzzing were seen clapping and dancing as the mayor of their town located in southern Mexico town performed the traditional rite which is said to bring good fortune to his people.
Victor Hugo Sosa, mayor of San Pedro Huamelula, a town of Indigenous Chontal people in the Tehuantepec isthmus of Mexico, took as his betrothed a reptile named Alicia Adriana, re-enacting an ancestral ritual.
