The Governor of Abia state, Dr. Alex Otti on Tuesday evening approved the appointment of initial six members of his cabinet.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser Media and Publicity, Mr. Ferdinand Ekeoma, Otti announced the appointment of Prof. Kenneth Kalu as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) while Pastor Caleb Ajagba who received the official handover notes from the outgone government as his Chief of Staff.
Others appointed to various positions include Dr. Ngozi Okoronkwo (Special Adviser Health Care Delivery Services), Ferdinand Ekeoma (Special Adviser Media and Publicity).
Mr. Kazie Ukoh was appointed Chief Press Secretary to the Governorz while Mrs. Njum Onyemenam, Accountant General
Mr. Ogbonnia Okereke ( Head, Special Taskfore on Emergency Cleanup of Aba & Umuahia).
The appointment of the six persons according to the statement is said to take immediate effect.
