The serving member of Umunneochie/Isuikwuato Federal Constituency and Deputy Chief Whip House of Representatives, Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha has reportedly lost her seat to the younger brother of the immediate past Minister for Mines and Steel (Uche Ogah); Chief Amobi Ogah.
Announcing the result on Sunday, Barr. Mrs. Nneoma Nnochiri, the Returning Officer for Isuikwuato/Umunneochie Federal Constituency said Nzeanochie Favour ADC 156, Onyejeocha Nkeiruka APC 8752, Rufu Obi APGA 1998, Obenwa Lilian Chinasa of All Progressives Party 401, Amobi Ogah Labour Party 11,768, Ugba Ugochukwu Brown NNPP 227, Ofoegbu Loveth Nonye PDP 6,760, Ochiuba Ikemefula Ikechukwu SDP 42, Onu Charles 584, GNPP 3, ADN 6.
Onyejeocha and Ogah are yet to react to the news of their loss and victory at the time of filing the report.
