Argentine national team led by Lionel Messi on Tuesday night had their chances to lift the 2022 World Cup boosted with a win over Croatia.

Goals from Messi’s opener on 34th minute and Brace from J. Alvarez on 39th and 69th minutes were enough to dash the chances of Croatia from playing at the Wordl Cup final.

Messi on the same equalled Diego Maradona’s record of eight World Cup assists for Argentina, while this was his 25th World Cup appearance – matching the record of Germany legend Lothar Matthaus.
