The 2023 governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Abia State, Prof. Greg Ibe has made a shocking revelation on how some unnamed powerful individuals in the state wanted him out of the scene.

Prof. Ibe who was speaking at Tonimas Corporate Headquarters, during a town hall meeting with the leaders of 178 town unions in Anambra State living in Aba, the commercial nerve of the state claimed that some people who feared that he would win the governorship race are after his life wanted him dead as the only means of ensuring that he (Ibe) did not participate in the 2023 general elections.

The APGA “Three weeks ago I came down to open my office in Aba and Umuahia. It is only God that strengthens me in the sacrifice that I do for this state Abia.

“If not God, I wouldn’t be alive today. They made me to vomit for 15 consecutive days.

“I lost everything. They wanted me out of the scene because they know that I will win the election come 2023, but God has kept me alive.

“So,I am sacrificing my life, for the good of Abia State.If you Google ABSU mayhem, they wanted to jail me for 18 months.

“They dragged me to court, accusing me of wanting to stop them from running university the way they were running it.

“My sin was standing against cultism. They ganged up against me. After 18 months, Justice Izima seeing that I was just being witch-hunted; that all that they want is to jail me, decided to stand by the truth.

“That was why I came out of that case. I was only trying to do the right thing and I will continue to do the right thing.

“I am always thinking how it will be well with humanity, so there is no way that we will create government without involving non-indigenes.
