The disolution according to a statement by the Secretary to the Abia State Government (SSG), Barr. Chris Ezem, stated that the disolution of the Wabara led ABSU Governing Council was with immediate effect.
The statement could not state the reasons for the disolution of the governing council, but The nation however, gathered that it could have been as a result of a statement attributed to the former Nigeria’s senate President warning the governor of the state of the dangers the party (PDP) may face if the governor decides to hand over power to another Ngwa man in 2023.
