The Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji earlier today attended the funeral service of Late Senior-Mother-in-Israel Rose Iheomadinihu Ikpo conducted by The Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim & Seraphim Church, Umuawa Alaocha, Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State.

Speaking at the service, the Speaker described the deceased as a firm believer in God, an iconic Matriarch and a role model who inspured others with her deep fount of wisdom with which she brought up all her children.

He said the sojourn of the late Matriarch on earth was a fulfilled one because she lived her life in humility and forthrightness.

The Speaker prayed God to console the bereaved family and grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Senior Mother in Israel Rose Iheomadinihu Ikpo was the Grandmother of the wife of the Speaker.
