Abia State government has assured that Osisioma Fly over would completed and commissioned for public use in December this year.
Recall that the state government had given several timeline for the completion of work on the Osisioma fly over, but have failed to keep to their promises.
This latest assurance was coming from the Commissioner for Information, Chief John Okiyi-Kalu.
Okiyi-Kalu who boasted that the state government would also construct more 200 kilometers of road before leaving office in 2023 speaking in a radio program today in Umuahia, the state capital, stated that the new list of commissioner nominees comprises experienced and youthful Abians who would help to drive the programmes of the state government to a sound conclusion.
The Information commissioner while reacting to the reoccuring sit-at-home order by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), lamented the negative impact of the sit-at-home on the education of children and economy of the entire southeast region.
He revealed that all Abia children took their exams safely during the sit-at-home period courtesy of the relentless efforts of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu to ensure same.
He advised Ndigbo to remember who they are, adding that Ndigbo have one of their greatest strengths in education which guarantees a winning future for them and stressed the need for Abians to go about their normal business on Mondays, as on any other day, without fear of molestation.

Okiyi-Kalu while also commenting on the lingering fuel crisis urged the people to exercise patience while the matter was being resolved by the parties involved and wondered why the problem between NUPENG and a neighbouring state government should be used to punish the masses who are now suffering what they know nothing about.
