A Southeast entrepreneur, Marksman Chinedu Ijiomah has doled out cash to twenty four street car washers to start their own business.
In a post on his verified facebook handle, Ijiomah disclosed that the set of car washers were those at Nza street, New Haven, Enugu, Enugu State.
According to Ijiomah, the beneficiaries who got between N200, 000.00 to N300, 000.00 each were the first beneficiaries for 2021, disclosing that he will be giving more to previous beneficiaries that invested their money well.
Ijiomah, the owner of Chinmark foods and logistics wrote “Every year, we empower our car-wash brothers in Nza Street in Enugu town with funds to start their choice businesses instead of them being at the car-wash all day.
“Every year since we started, we would pick about 30 persons per batch and empower them with funds.
We keep track of those whose businesses did well from the previous year and we look for ways to improve them. Quite often, we provide more funds for them to expand.
“Today, we gathered the first set of beneficiaries for the year 2021 and those who did well with their businesses from last year, we added more funds to them.
“Today, they were about 24 beneficiaries. Some of them got 300k while others received 200k and 250k each. Some of the new beneficiaries said they wanted to start poultry businesses. Some said they wanted to go into small scale businesses etc.
