The Governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano is adamant over his choice of choosing former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo as his successor.
It could recalled that the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) primary that produced Soludo as the gubernatorial flag bearer of APGA has been suject of litigation in the past weeks.
Obiano speaking to journalists at the Anambra International Passenger and cargo Airport, Umueri upon his arrival from his a three-week vacation affirmed that Soludo will become the governor of Anambra come November 6, 2021.
On the name of Prof. Soludo that was missing in INEC list, Obiano described the omission of Soludo’s name on the INEC list as a ‘mistake’, which he said would be corrected soon.
The Governor said: “Prof. Soludo is the next Governor of Anambra State as issues about APGA crisis will be a thing of the past soon”.
