United Nations Writes Nigeria, Kenya Over Torture On Kanu

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has assured his teeming supporters and IPOB family across the globe that the predicament he is passing through in the hands of the personnel of the Department of State Security (DSS) and the Nigerian government will soon be over.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who spoke from the DSS facility when his lawyer, Aloy Ejimakor visited him called for the unity of members of IPOB worldwide.

According Barr. Ejimakor, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu also appealed to IPOB and all pro-Biafra agitators to tolerate one another, adding that he always thought about them as they have in one way or the other expressed their concerns about him.

Barr. Ejimakor, while updating members of IPOB and indeed Mazi Nnamdi kanu supporters on the outcome of his visit to Kanu at the DSS facility saturday night wrote

“Update: Today, I met with Onyendu at the DSS.

“We spent nearly 4 hours. My interaction with him was fulfilling.

“He is cheery & looks forward to overcoming this predicament sooner than later.

“Again, he stressed UNITY and tolerance on all sides. He has you all in his thoughts.”

Recall that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is bid to appear in court on the 26th of this month. But because of the annual vacation judges of the Federal High Courts which conincided with the date, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu lawyers who have expressed their concerns over the continued stay of their client at the DSS facility which has kept him away from family and access to his medical doctors, they are now making efforts to secure a closer date for Mazi Kanu’s arraignment on an earlier date.

Infonet9ja.com gathered that the lawyers to the IPOB leader are optimistic that they will secure a closer date with the hope that he (Kanu) would be remanded in the prison custody where he will have more access to his lawyers, family members and his medical team as well.
