The construction of Ebonyi State International Airport has received a huge boost with the presence of a team of officers from the Federal Ministry of Aviation and its Agencies who arrived the state yesterday (Sunday) July 11, 2021.
A statement by the Special Assistant to the Governor; Media and Publicity, Mr. Francis Nwaze stated that the Federal Aviation team would be undertaking some official duties in the state as it concerns the ongoing construction of Ebonyi State International Airport.
Nwaze in the statement stated that Governor Umahi and the officers upon arrival would inspect the David Nweze Umahi University of Medical Sciences, the Ebonyi State International Airport and some other legacy projects being executed by the present administration for the good people of Ebonyi State, Nigeria and beyond.
Names of the team of the Aviation officers includes:
1. Capt T. Alkali Director, FMA.
2. Mrs. Amne Alkali.
3. Capt M. Muye. Director, FAAN.
4. Engr Lawrence Pwajok. Director, NAMA.
5. Engr Salisu Daura. Director, FAAN.
6. Engr M. Odunowo. Director, NCAA.
7. Engr Patrick Agbapu, FMA.
8. Engr. B.G. Abba Shaib, FMA.
9.Mr. Charles Nwachi, GM ICT FAAN
