President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated the incumbent President of Africa Development bank (AFDB) on his re-election to serve another five years in office.
Buhari in a tweet said “I congratulate @akin_adesina on his re-election for a second term in office as President of the @AfDB_Group.
“It is a well deserved victory. I have no doubt that in this second term Dr. Adesina will accomplish even more of his lofty vision for the Bank,” President Muhammdu Buhari tweeted on his official twitter handle; @MBuhari minutes after he got the confirmation of the re-election of Adesina who he had thrown his support for even in the midst of a financial controversy that would have hampered his re-election.
Dr Akinwumi Adesina was re-elected to serve for another five-year term as President of the Africa Development Bank (AfDB) on Thursday.
