COVID-19 cases in Nigeria hit 7526 with 265 new patients

Nigeria has recorded another 265 new cases of COVID-19 across twelve states in the country including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

This was disclosed on Saturday night by the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on their official twitter handle; @NCDCgov.

according to the tweet Lagos State which has been the epic Center of the pandemic in Nigeria still tops the chat with 133, while Oyo State recorded 34 new cases.

Edo State recorded 28 as Ogun State has 23 new case.

FCT has 22, Plateau 6, Kaduna-5, Borno and Niger State recorded 3 new cases as Kwara, Bauchi, Anambra and Enugu recorded 2 new cases respectively.

NCDC in the tweet gave the total COVID-19 cases in the country as 7526, adding that a total of 2174 persons have been discharged from various treatment centers as 221deaths have been recorded
