No amount of blackmail can distract Abia Assembly Speaker-Media Aide

An aide to the Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly; Rt. Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, Promise Uzoma Okoro has chided perceived enemies of his boss, saying that Hon. Orji cannot be distracted by blackmailers.

A recent post making rounds on social media showing what they claimed was shared amongst them as palliative, allegedly by the Speaker, Abia State House of Assembly.

But in a swift reaction to the said post, Okoro, a Special Assistant (Media) to the Speaker described the post as false and a malicious post aimed at tarnishing the image of his boss.

Okoro who described his boss as a magnanimous and benevolent man, listed among other palliatives shared to cushion the effect of the COVID-19 palliatives to include bags of garri, cartons of indomie etc.

“Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly; Rt. Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji is a man known for his magnanimity and benevolence over the years even before the outbreak of the Corona Virus Pandemic.

“Outside carrying out Sensitization and distributing hand sanitizers to the good people of Umuahia Central State Constituency on the need to abide by the World Health Organization Guidelines so as to curb the spread of the Corona Virus Pandemic, Rt. Hon Chinedum Orji on the 13th of April 2020 Distributed Cartons of Indomie, Bags of Rice and Bags of Garri to the people of Umuahia Central State Constituency and beyond through 72 Churches, Mosque and Motherless Babies homes within and outside Umuahia Central.

“The Speaker who has repeatedly said that his intervention in this Corona Virus was not politically motivated because as a man known for his passion to serve his people, he shall continue to share in the Pains and Celebrate in the Joyous comment of his Constituents.

“It is now worrisome to note that some enemies of Abia, men whose conscience has been sold to the devil are now using his Palliatives for cheap blackmail.

“The image and content in the image these mischief Makers are circulating was manipulated to achieve their selfish and mischievous objective, but the good people of Umuahia Central are wise people, Abians at large knows the person and capacity of the man IKUKU OMA Abia State and had since known that the image was a handiwork of enemies of Abia.

“Unfortunately the Speaker cannot be distracted with roadside gossips from people who has vowed to distort and manipulate every of his good intentions.

“These Social Media Politicians should know that the game of 2023 which of course is very far cannot be played on the altar of Blackmail.

“The towering qualities of Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji has made the poor woman in Amauzukwu, the blind man at the School of the Blind Afaraukwu,that Motherless baby at Ubakala and the aged man at Ugba to continue to pray and wish him well.

“Dear Mischief Makers, you have failed and will Continue to fail.
