Nigerian Air Force airlifts conjoined twins set for surgery

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) on January 2, 2020, airlifted a set of conjoined twins along with their parents and the medical team from Yenagoa to Yola via Port Harcourt by helicopter and fixed-wing transport aircraft.

The action of the NAF was in line with the civil-military relations of the Nigerian Air Force.

The twins, who are joined at the abdomen, are expected to undergo surgery at the Federal Medical Centre in Yola.
