Police Reports Vindicate RRS Of Abia Poly Student Rape

Lagos State government through Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) on Thursday handed over 25 Patrol vans to the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) in order to enhance operational coverage and visibility in policing in the state.

The vehicles were handed over to Police Commissioner Hakeem Odumosu by the Executive Secretary LSSTF Abdulrazaq Balogun at the State House in Alausa.

Balogun said the donation was part of periodic injection of additional equipment to assist the police in crime prevention and fighting, especially during the yuletide.

Commending the RRS for the strides recorded in crime control, Balogun said several good reports have been received from Lagosians on their activities, assuring that the trust fund would continue to support the squad.

Odumosu, in his remark said the donation has further emboldened the police to go all out in the protection of lives and properties, pledging that they would be put to good use.

The police chief appealed for more logistics to enhance the operational performance of the force across the state.
