NAOWA distributes educational materials to children of deceased soldiers

The leadership of the Nigerian Army Officer’s Wives Association (NAOWA) 14 Brigade Army Headquarters, Ohafia, Abia State has distributed educational materials to children of deceased soldiers of the Brigade.

The materials include school uniforms, exercise books and writing materials for nursery, primary and secondary schools within and outside the Barracks.

Speaking at the occasion which took place at Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Barracks Ohafia, the Zonal Coordinator of NAOWA and wife of the Brigade Commander, Mrs. Abiola Kumapayi who was represented by Mrs. Dorothy Ota said the aim of the package was to assist the families of soldiers of the Brigade who died in the line of duty.

In his speech, the Commander 14 Brigade, Brigadier General Solomon Kumapayi thanked the NAOWA for the donations and promised to always support the association when the need arises.

The event had in attendance, The Chief of Staff 14 Brigade, Colonel Mohammed Faggo    Babayo, Commanding Officers, Staff Officers, members of NAOWA Ohafia, and Soldiers in the barracks.
