Abia Online Media Practitioners congratulate Ikpeazu

The online media practitioners association of Nigeria Abia State Chapter has congratulated the Governor of Abia State Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu on his reelection.

In a Press release signed by the Chairman of the Association Comrade Ugochukwu Nwankwo, the organization lauded the major Governorship candidates for their decorous conduct and peaceful disposition through out the campaigns and electioneering process.

In his words, “Abia can be adjudged to be one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria, so long as the last election is concerned. We monitored the election and we can attest that the last election is certainly an improvement on what we had in 2015.”

The association urged other Governorship candidates in the last election to put Abia first in any decision they may decide to take concerning the outcome of the election, bearing in mind that there can only be one winner in every contest.

The group further admonished the Governor to bridge the political gaps now that elections are over and concentrate on delivering the dividends of democracy to Abians and not allow himself to further be distracted by post election matters.
