National Youth Council of Nigeria set to host gubernatorial debates for southeast governorship candidates

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) the umbrella body and authentic mouthpiece of all registered youth organization in Nigeria is set to host a debate for South East Governorship Candidates of Major political parties in Abia, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo State.

“The SOUTHEAST GUBERNATORIAL DEBATE 2019 aims at bringing candidates together in a candid and open debate which will afford their electorate opportunity to better understand the candidates’ blueprint for their state.

The debate is to hold as follows:
Abia State 6th Feb 2019
Imo State 7th Feb 2019
Ebonyi State 8th Feb 2019
Enugu State 9th Feb 2019

Time: 7pm – 9pm respectively.

Candidates are expected to arrive not later than 15 minutes before the debate.

This debate will be broadcast live on cable through TSTV, and on all FRCN stations in the zone and Dream 92.5 FM.
It will also be streamed live on major social media platforms across the globe.

He also stated that southeast Media Executive Round Table (SEMERT), Transition Monitoring Group (TMG), and
Peoples Creative Empowerment International (PCEI) are major partners of the project. And enjoined all youths across South East to support this project and make it a successful one so as to hold all public office holders in the region accountable.
