Abia Lawmaker flaws State Attorney-General at poll to clinch party ticket

The member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency in the green chamber of the National Assembly, Hon Uko Nkole, has flawed the Attorney General and Abia State and Commissioner for Justice, Umeh Kalu (SAN) to clinch the ticket to contest for 2019 general election under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) platform.

Nkole who is widely loved and fondly called “Mr. Project” received 202 votes to emerge winner of the delegate election conducted at Ohafia.

 

Speaking to newsmen after his election to fly the flag of the PDP in next year’s general election, Chief Nkole thanked the members of the party for showing faith with him and promised to do more to bring development to the area.

“I appreciate God and our party members for their steadfast love and support. Our party men and women  have been wonderful and that includes my opponents who are worthy contestants too. Together, we will work to advance the cause of our people and also ensure a landslide victory for Governor Ikpeazu and all our candidates in 2019.”
