Corps member escaped death by the whiskers

One of the greatest moment of students of higher institutions in Nigeria is having the feeling of graduation and the fact that he/she is going to join his or her counterparts to perform the one year mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

The 12 months of virtually every corps member is a period to make new friends and apparently staying away under the prying eyes of your family members or loved ones.

For people posted outside their place of residence, traveling home during festivities or holidays is always a cherished moment as they can’t await being in the arms of their loved ones and being treated as a king or queen after travelling such a long distance.

A survey among corps members has it that because of the dangers on Nigerian roads, many defy travelling to avoid “story that touches the heart”.

However a serving female corps member in one of the states in Nigeria, with the name Stella Okwy who recently embarked on a journey for a reason that she didn’t state has taken to her facebook wall thanksgiving to God after she was said to have miraculously survived being crushed in an accident.

According to the post on her wall, the incident was said to have taken place on the 31st of August, 2018 and though she didn’t state where the accident occurred, she said that co-occupants of the car sustained injuries but came out with their lives.
