Senate President, Saraki assists accident victims in Southeast

The President of Nigeria’s Senate, Bukola Saraki on Friday displayed a rare attitude of a typical Nigeria and especially, of one occupying an exalted position of his as the number 3 person in the country. This as Saraki on his way to Abia State capital stopped over to assist accident victims.

Infonet9ja.com gathered that the accident happened on Aba-Owerri Expressway.

The cause of the accident and the safety of the people involved in the accident were yet unknown, it was gathered that Saraki in the company of Senator Dino Melaye, the deputy Governor of the State, Rt. Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu alighted from their vehicles on the convoy to assist road users.

The Senate President, it was learnt equally urged members of his security team to join hands to give helping hands to ensure that the traffic buildup caused by the accident was cleared to enable easy vehicular movement on the road.
