The All Progressives Congress, APC in Abia state has constituted a 7-man reconciliatory committee with a task of bringing together all aggrieved members and factions in the party.
The state chairman of the party, Honorable Donatus Nwankpa made this known while inaugurating the seventeen local government executive members of the party at the state secretariat in Umuahia.
Honorable Nwankpa charged the newly sworn in local government officials to live up to the confidence reposed on them, accommodate all opinions and carry all members along.
The reconciliation committee has Chief Godwin Onyemaobi as chairman, Retired Justice Sunday Imo as deputy chairman, Dr. Charles Nwaogu as secretary.
Other members are Sir Marc Wabara, Senator Chris Adigije, Chief Mrs. Ori Obasi and Chief Mrs. Chisom Onuoha.
Responding, one of the local government executive members, Barrister Ugorji Eke promised that they will work in line with the APC’s constitution to achieve the goal of the party.
