“The attention of the JKF Campaign Office has been drawn to a story that has gone viral on the social media that the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Kayode Fayemi, has picked Hajia Habibat Adubiaro as the deputy governorship candidate of the party in the July 14 governorship election. This report is not only false, but misleading.

“The general public is hereby notified that APC has a formal way of conducting its affairs in strict compliance with the party’s rules and regulations.

“At the appropriate time the party would formally announce the deputy governorship candidate.
