APC Chieftain preaches peace as Nigeria marks 19yrs uninterrupted democracy

Former Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly and the Member representing Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Martins Azubuike has urged Nigerians to embrace peace as the country marks 19years of uninterrupted democracy and 3years of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

 

 

Azubuike in his goodwill message to mark the 2018 democracy day noted that despite the challenges facing the country, the President Buhari has recorded positive strides that when sustained would see Nigeria leapfrogging from its current position to become one of the best in the committee of Nations.

He equally enjoined all to support Buhari in his avowed quest to put in place institutions that would ensure that the socioeconomic potentials of the country would be realized.

 

 

The former Speaker who is also a Governorship aspirant under the platform of APC, admonished Nigerians to always reflect soberly during transit periods in life and likened our present situation as that of the Israelites Who nearly lost their patience on their way to the promised land.

He added that, the Federal Government anchored its policy mainly on three critical areas of Corruption, Security and the Economy, stressing that the APC led administration is tackling corruption at all levels, security agencies are recording huge successes on Boko Haram and other insurgencies.

He however, urged them to intensify effort at stopping the lingering herdsmen/farmers frequent clashes leading to senseless loss of lives.
