The Ukwa West Local Government Area, Abia State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has concluded arrangements to accord the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu a rousing welcome, ahead of his planned visit to the area.
Speaking during an emergency stakeholders meeting held at his country home at Umuaka-Asa in Ukwa West on Monday, the leader of the party in the local government area, Dr. Eruba Dimgba, who is also the Commissioner representing Abia State on the board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, charged the stakeholders to mobilise massively for the event.
He assured that logistical arrangements have been finalised to ensure that APC members across the ten political wards in Ukwa West participate fully in welcoming the Deputy Soraker.ensure, who according to him, would be visiting Ukwa West on Friday, November 7, 2025 to Inaugurate the Renewed Hope Partners.
The Commissioner expressed confidence in the fact APC would win Ukwa West and the state at large in the 2027 general elections, adding that the steady growth of the party across the country was evident that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has continued to demonstrate capacity and commitment towards positively transforming Nigeria’s socio-economic landscape.
Dimgba assured that the NDDC would sustain its ongoing efforts to bring tangible development and empowerment opportunities to individuals in the Niger Delta region.
