Ozonna, son of Anambra Governor Charles Soludo, has spoken out about the criticism he faces on social media particularly from some Nigerians.
Speaking with content creator Goodybagg, Ozonna said the negative attention is a natural consequence of being visible and confident.

He said: “I think it just kind of comes with it. Anybody that is visible and confident, you are going to get hate. I am not going to apologise to them for not liking me, I am going to keep being myself”.
Ozonna emphasised that he will not change himself to please others, referencing his strong sense of self.

“I do not do this to be liked by everyone because I have a very strong sense of myself and I am not willing to apologise for that. So I am not going to stop doing anything just because someone doesn’t like me,” he said.
He noted that the diversity of the global population means that not everyone will have the same opinions or preferences, “We are billions of people on the planet and we are all different,” he added.
The comments come after Ozonna participated in the viral “What’s in your bag” challenge, which sparked controversy and debate online.
Speaking about his fashion choices, especially his bag, Ozonna said: “I just like the bag, the vintage Balenciaga. It has a kind of vibe.
“I can buy any bag, but I buy this one because it speaks to me and gravitates towards me. It deeply resonates with me.”
