An Abuja based Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Apex of Charity has shared food items, cash gifts to the residents of Suleja community.
The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, CEO, Ommex Resources limited, and founder Apex of Charity, Emmanuel Maduabuchi and his wife also brought medical team that held medical tests for members of the Suleja community who could not afford to pay for medical checks in both government and private hospitals.
Speaking at the event, Emmanuel Maduabuchi, the said the second edition of this grand occasion has been instructed by God right from the maiden edition, so as to pull outreach that will serve the members of the community in form of reaching out to people.
The first edition was in Utako, Abuja.
Recounting his experience down memory lane, he explained how times were hard for family and himself during his formative years and how he was considered a “no do well by many before God granted him success through humans, which he cannot despise such but reach out to people.
“It’s a divine mission designed by God, because growing up in starvation here in Suleja, I prayed to God for such ess in life, which he has granted me enough to reach out to others, as well.
“My life has been a testimony of thought and with the support of my dear wife, a nurse, it has been years of divine glory and immense progress.
“God has given me the privilege and an assignment to share with people, so, why won’t I do so? It’s just sacrosanct for me to reach out, mostly from a community where I grew up in,” he explained.
On her part, wife of the CEO, who is also a co-founder Apex of Charity Initiative, as well as Ommex Mrs. Evelyn Emmanuel, who corroborated her husband’s assertion also agreed that the divine intervention has also led her to embark on a free medical outreach for High Blood Pressure and Sugar level, as they reeled out cash gifts to assist the vulnerable for further access to medical facilities in order to grant them more succour.
She described mothers as Generals of homes as ordained by God.
According to the nurse who works with a government facility, this year’s edition marks the second of its kind and she assured the continuation of the same in subsequent years, hoping on Divine Grace, “the source our mercy to carry out this mission by His Grace,” she added.
She then encouraged the participants to partake enthusiastically in the medical Sugar and High Blood Pressure tests.
Also, represented, was Member, House of Representatives, for Suleja, Gurara and Tafa, Hon. Adamu Tanko Lokoja, by Hon. Yahaya Saduiki, that stated the need to avoid religious sentiments over humanity.
“They have challenged us to do more as a government and despite our projects such as sinking of boreholes, amidst others, this is indeed a monumental edifice for us all to build on for the future.
While appreciating the organiser for his kind gestures towards the less privileged women with effect to children and the old in general, Rev. Father representing ECWA Church, Barde Moses, thanked God for the gift of life firstly, saying he was even shocked over the development which he quoted a biblical verse from the book of Matthew Chapter 25 to buttress a point which states, “Whatever you do to the midst of my brethren, that, you also do unto me.”
Kick-start of the event was the medical test reachout for Sugar and High Blood Pressure levels of participants by the organisers of the event, with cash gifts for them to carry out other further medication.
The beneficiaries of the palliatives expressed gladness having received foods,free medical checks and cash. They prayed for the benefactor

The event, which was attended by representatives of dignitaries including the Member, House of Representatives, for Suleja, Gurara and Tafa, Hon. Adamu Tanko Lokoja, by Hon. Yahaya Saduiki, the Chairman of local government council, Hon. Ishaku Bawa Neubi, Hon. Aemichi. T. Iyei, Chief of Gwarzunu, Alh. Useni Haruna, Hon. Gambo Useni, the Speaker of Suleja Council among others, was a testament to Mr. Emmanuel’s commitment to giving back to the society.
