Leader of a splinter Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Simon Ekpa has given Nigeria 72hrs to allow the global leader of the group, Nnamdi Kanu to have access to medical attention.

Ekpa, in a tweet on his X after analyzing social media pictures of Kanu who appeared in court on Tuesday in Abuja for the continuation of his trial by the federal government, accused the federal government of poisoning Kanu’s food.

The ultimatum, Ekpa said would expire on Friday, March 21, warning that should the federal government fails to grant Kanu access to medical attention, they (IPOB) would go after any government facility in the Biafra region.

Simon in a tweet which has generated so many comments said “The Biafra Government has analysed this picture of the leader of Indigenous people of Biafra in the courtroom yesterday and we are now convinced that Nigeria Islamic state has been poisoning his food.

“However, we are demanding for the immediate release of MNK for proper medical treatment or else, we will step up the flame ????

“The Biafra government and its forces hereby give Nigeria 72hours ultimatum to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for medical treatment or see every visible structure that represent Nigeria within Biafra land go down.
