Abused 8-Year-Old House Help Gets Scholarship To University Level

Luck has smiled on the Anambra mal-treated 8-year-old house help, simply identified as Miss Chidinma as an Igbo philanthropist has decided to give her scholarship from primary to university level.

Chidinma whose video went viral after it surfaced online caught the attention of the philanthropist, Williams Uchenna, an indigene of Enugu State.

Chidinma was said to be living in Nkpor, near Onitsha Anambra State with her relative who gave her multiple bodily injuries for reportedly throwing one of her twin babies on the floor.

Although police report from Anambra State has it that the said relative identified as Mrs. Chinyere Ifesinachi is already in police custody, the video has continued to generate interest of many individuals and groups seeking justice for the little girl.

Williams Uchenna who is the CEO SPD GROUP in a post on his Facebook after watching the heart-wrenching wrote “Watching these videos, I can’t imagine how traumatized this kid would feel.

“It is very normal that a woman would never treat another woman’s kid like hers, but that doesn’t mean she should go all bonkers and kill another woman’s child.

“This is one reason everyone must try his or her best to make a living and take care of your kids yourself.

“The SPD Group has offered to adopt this kid and give her the best chance of life, we shall enroll her in the best schools possible until her university days and beyond.

“Her future is in no man’s hands and so we had decided to give her the opportunity to excel just as we had done/doing for numerous others.
