The management of the Abia State Polytechnic, Aba has named the governor of Rivers State as one of the personalities that they would honoured at the institution’s convocation scheduled to hold on Thursday, May 11 and Friday May 12 respectively.
Others named to be honoured at the same occasion include, Obinna Iyiegbu popularly known as Obi Cubana.
Other dignitaries to be honoured includes former deputy governor of the state, Comrade Chris Akomas, Chief Medical Director of Federal Medical Center (FMC), Umuahia, Dr. Onyebuchi Chukwu and Ide John Udeagbala.
A statement by the management of the state owned institution has it that the event would hold at the school’s pavilion.
The statement further disclosed that
“You are cordially invited to the Abia State Polytechnic, Aba, combined Convocation of graduands from 2010 to 2021 and Award of Fellowship to distinguished and deserving Nigerians across various professions and careers.
“DATE: 11th and 12th, May 2023.

“The Pre-Convocation lecture will be delivered by Chief Johnson Chukwu of Cowry Assets Management Ltd, Lagos.
