Chelsea have reached an agreement in principle to appoint Frank Lampard as new caretaker manager.
Infonet9ja.com reports that Lampard was present at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night as Chelsea lose to Liverpool in a Premier League match, some days after sacking Graham Potter.
Many fans of Chelsea FC and sports analysts have come hard on the choice of Lampard who just lost his job with Everton; as the club’s new interim manager.
It was gathered that Lampard accepted a short-term deal that will only be valid until the end of the current season.
Chelsea is understood to have continued talks with Julian Nagelsmann, Luis Enrique and other possible candidates for long-term project.
The club, sources said wanted to take some time before making final decision on the new head coach for present & future.
