The candidate of the Labour Party (LP) for Aba North State Constituency, Destiny Nwagwu has defeated the incumbent Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lawmaker representing Aba North State Constituency, Aaron Uzodike.
Nwagwu botched Uzodike’s second mission to the Abia State House of Assembly after he polled 13,759 votes to defeat the sitting Hon. Uzodike who scored 2940 votes.
Another Labour Party candidate; Anthony Chinaza defeated his closest rival, Pastor Ugochukwu of the PDP who scored 2656 votes for Abia Central State Constituency.
In another development, in Isiala Ngwa South State Constituency the LP candidate, Dannie Ubanie scored 6284 to lose to Rowland Chinwendu who scored 7008 votes.
