The Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly and the PDP candidate for Ikwuano-Umuahia Federal Constituency at the forthcoming general elections, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji FNSE has described the people of Ohuhu land as great and highly resourceful, saying that is why he and their son, Hon Kelechi Onuzuruike are working together for the interest of Ikwuano-Umuahia and Ohuhu-Umuahia interests.
The Speaker stated this yesterday at the residence of Hon. Onuzuruike whom he further described as a humble yet passionate leader of his people and a cerebral member of the Abia State House of Assembly who has contributed to the richness of the House’s legislative output.
Responding, Hon Kelechi Onuzuruike who is the Deputy Chief Whip of the Abia State House of Assembly, thanked the Speaker for doing him the honour of the visit before moving on to his other campaign programmes in the locality. He described him as an exemplary leader worthy of all the accolades he has been receiving from all and sundry.
While addressing the crowd that gathered at the residence, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji restated that Onuzuruike has been representing the people well, and advised the incoming member from Ohuhu land to be courageous and outspoken and give the people effective representation just like Onuzuruike.
He further described the land and people of Ohuhu as a land that has produced great men and women including highly regarded professionals, political leaders.
The Speaker assured the people that whatever project he attracts to Umuahia will also be attracted to Ohuhu and Ikwuano.
