Hon. Samuel Onuigbo, House of Representatives member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North/South Federal Constituency in the green chambers has met the requirements and commitments to participate in the much awaited Abia State Election Debate 2023.
Hon. Onuigbo is the APC candidate to contest for the Abia Central senatorial election in Abia State.
Recall that the Court of Appeal sitting in Owerri presided over by Justice Justice Rita Pemu,had nullified the candidacy of Chief Emeka Atuma of the All Progressive Congress(APC) for Abia Central senatorial election.
The court ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to recognise Hon Sam Onuigbo as the winner and authentic candidate of the APC, primary election for Abia Central senatorial district.
The debate is organized by the Abia State Election Debate Group (ASEDT).
The debate will engage the Governorship candidates, Deputy Governorship, Senatorial and House of Representatives Candidates across Abia State.
The Debate will be aired across partnering radio stations, streamed on online Tv channels from January 23, 2023.
