Mixed reactions have continued to trail the purported news of the death of popular Nigerian Hip Hop singer, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido whose son, Ifeanyi was reported to have died on Monday after drowning in water in Lagos Nigeria.
Infonet9ja.com checks Monday night have it that the reported death of Davido’s son was the most trending issue in all the social media platforms;facebook, twitter, instagram and among others.
Ifeanyi Adeleke who just marked his birthday which was well celebrated by his father and associates was the child that he had with his lover, Chioma, who he (Davido) disclosed would be marrying next year.
While there has not been any official statement from the Adeleke family, Davido himself or Chioma concerning the rumour, many of their fans have prayed that the news was fake.
Popular Nigerian blog, Instablog in a tweet on its handle @instablog9ja tweeted “Singer Davido loses son
“Nigerian Singer, Davido, has lost his 3 years old son, Ifeanyi.
“According to insiders report, the boy dr@wned today, inside the family’s swimming pool in Lagos.
“Little Ifeanyi was said to be underwater for a very long time before being spotted.
“He was immediately pulled out and rushed to Lagoon Hospital, where he was confirmed de@d on arrival.”
Meanwhile fans and some celebrities who could neither debunk or confirm the news have prayed that the news was fake.
