The Federal House of Representatives is neither for green horns in the midst of the availability of experience; it is not for the fainthearted amidst the presence of the courageous. The National Assembly is a place where hard negotiations are done by Representatives for the benefit of their constituents and beyond in the midst of many competing needs of several constituencies all over the federation.

For a Constituency like that of the Ikwuano/Umuahia to get the best from the system including meaningful federal presence, projects and institutions, we need an experienced hand with proven capacity, competence and courage to mount our own part of the chamber in the National Assembly, speak for us and adroitly navigate his way through the intricate and delicate but humongous demands of legislative duties.

That established leader who fits this bill among all those angling to represent us at the Federal House of Representatives is no other person but the already experienced Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji MNSE.

The great people of Ikwuano/Umuahia will do the right thing by ensuring that they send only ‘finished products’ ready, willing and able to attract democracy dividends from the federal level to the people, and not apprentices who hope to learn on the job thereby jeopardising the chances of a better life for the people.

Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji MNSE is unarguably the right man for the job.
