The Super Falcons of Nigeria on Monday lost another opportunity to play against the Banyana Banyana of South Africa as they suffered defeat in the hands of the Lioness of Morocco; Morocco’s female National team on penalties.
The game which was attended by well over 45, 000 spectators in the stadium ended at 1-1 in the 96th minute encounter with the Super Falcons playing with 9 players as Ayinde and Ajibade were red carded after their careless tackles against their opponents.
The game later went into extra time with the Super Falcons losing 5-4 on penalties.
Despite their loss, the Super Falcons have qualified to play in the 2022 Female World Cup coming up later this year.
