Ikwuorie comprehensive secondary school Ohanku Ndoki in Ukwa East Local Government Areas of Abia State is the only Government owned secondary school in Ohanku community.
This school suffered, lack of teachers and years of neglect while the buildings are dilapidated.
It got to a point where Abia State Government decided to close it down and remove the waec centre for lack of students and infrastructural decay.
The rate of poverty was another driving force why parents withdrew their children from the school because they could not afford to pay some compulsory fees and levies.
When the information got to the General Overseer Omega Power Ministries (OPM), Apostle Chubuzor Gift Chinyere who swung into actions immediately.
The man of God firstly intervened and stop the Government from closing down the school and removing WAEC centre.
In order to restore the dignity of the school and to ensure that the school bounce back again, Apostle Chinyere offered scholarships to all the students who are willing to go to school from JSS 1 to SS3.
It will interest Nigerians to know that the school which had only 4 students now recorded not fewer than 250 students.
Apostle Chinyere who built 18 free schools scattered across the country, have also employed not fewer than seven teachers to which he has been paying monthly to give the students a quality education.
