Nigeria’s Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson-Okojie has reportedly accused a teacher of bullying of her daughter in her new school.
The thespian, in a lengthy post shared on her Instagram, narrated how her first child, Purity, is being bullied by a teacher who isn’t even her class teacher.
According to Mercy Johnson, the teacher hates her and extends the same to her daughter and seizes every opportunity to bully her.
“A teacher at my child’s school has been bullying my daughter constantly for 2 whole weeks,” she began.
“I do not honestly care if someone does not like me. I do not expect everyone to but to take your hate out on my child? Unacceptable!
“She is not her class teacher yet she shows up every day to intimidate her! Uses her biros to flick her hair.
“She tells her to her face that she does not like her mother, tells her that celebrity kids are badly behaved and she should not bring her ‘aura’, she should stop feeling proud, she should not bring her online drama to school. An 8-year-old!”
The actress explained as a mother, she has instilled the right morals in her children but reminds them that they must always speak out when they are being treated badly.
She wrote: “The one thing I teach my kids is DISCIPLINE and RESPECT! I insist on POLITENESS AND KINDESS from them, but I also teach them to SPEAK OUT especially to me WHEN THEY ARE BADLY TREATED!”
She noted Purity, who used to love going to school, has suddenly developed phobia for school because of the alleged ill treatment by the teacher.
The mother of four said emphatically she will not watch while her daughter is being traumatised.
She said: “LET ME STATE IN CASE I WAS NOT CLEAR, I WILL NOT STANDBY AND ALLOW MY 8-YEAR-OLD BE VICTIMISED.”
The movie star further said the matter has been reported to the school authorities while they await the outcome.
