Ikpeazu’s Chief Press Secretary Under Heavy Criticism (You will Be Shocked To Know What he said)

The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Abia State, Mr. Onyebuchi Ememanka in an attempt to defend the Ikpeazu led government over its inability to setup Abia State Chapter of Ebubeagu months after Governors of the Southeast agreed in Owerri, Imo State to setup the state owned security outfit has come under severe attack from Abia residents and Abians.

Mr. Ememanka had in a post on his facebook timeline claimed that Ebubeagu security outfit is operational in the state.

But Abians have queried the claims by Mr. Ememanka (that Ebubeagu is functional in the state). This is even as many Abia residents who faulted the claims of Ememanka said that they have not been able to see any personnel of Ebubeagu near their farms or village forests.

Ememanka while stating the the Ebubeagu personnel in the state were mainly involved in intelligence gathering, disclosing that unlike other states where the Ebubeagu outfit has uniform, the Abia State chapter doesn’t have uniform.

Ememanka wrote “Abia State chapter of the Southeast security outfit was setup and inaugurated in the state.

“Some people are asking if there is EBUBEAGU in Abia State.

“My response is simple…

“When last did you hear of any attack of Fulani herdsmen in Abia State?

“When last did you hear of any form of kidnap by Fulani herdsmen in Abia State?

“You think these things happened by chance?

“EBUBEAGU in Abia State is very much at work and is more involved in intelligence gathering and nipping crimes in the bud. They don’t have any uniforms. But they are everywhere, especially in our bushes and farms.

“OK, if you want to confirm if our EBUBEAGU is working, carry a herd of Cattle, dress like a Fulani man and enter farms and bushes in Abia State.

“Then you will know if there is EBUBEAGU or not.

“Remember that EBUBEAGU was set up principally to deal with the menace of Fulani herdsmen.”
