Nigeria Tech Expert Dies 7 Days After Winning $125m Contract

Nigerian man identified as David Odaibo; a Tech expert, has reportedly died one week after reportedly winning $125M US contract.

Brother of the deceased, Stephen Odaibo announced his death on social media.

According to Stephen, his brother “had a PhD in Computer Engineering and was a Kaggle Grand-master, the highest attainable skill level in practical Machine Learning.”

Stephen disclosed that Odaibo had written an algorithm for automatically detecting threats at airports and had won a $125 million contract from the Department of Homeland security about a week before his death.

He reportedly died of a heart attack in his sleep.
