Cristiano Ronaldo has penned down an emotional note to his fans in Juventus as he exits the club he joined from Real Madrid.

In the note which he personnaly wrote, Ronaldo while confirming his exit from Juventus described Juve as the biggest club in Italy and in Europe.

Ronaldo who noted that that his time at Juventus was exciting, thanked the supporters for helping him write a beautiful story.

“Today I depart from an amazing club, the biggest in Italy and surely one of the biggest in all of Europe. I gave my heart and soul for Juventus and I’ll always love the city of Turin until my final days.

“The “tiffosi bianconeri” always respected me and I tried to thank that respect by fighting for them in every game, every season, every competition.

Meanwhile, Juventus manager, Massimiliano Allegri had earlier on Friday confirmed that the Portugese national team captain and former Manchester United player Ronaldo will leave the Turin club.

“Cristiano Ronaldo told me yesterday that he wants to LEAVE Juventus immediately. It’s true and confirmed. This is why he wasn’t training today and he’s not available for tomorrow match vs Empoli”

In a statement on their official website, Manchester United announcing that they have struck a deal that will bring Ronaldo back to Old Trafford wrote: “Manchester United is delighted to confirm that the club has reached agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo, subject to agreement of personal terms, visa and medical.
