It was a moment of praise and thanksgiving today, Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Saint Paul’s Anglican Church located at Uzuakoli road, Umuahia, North Local Government Area of Abia State as friends and well-wishers of Venerable Sam Ikedi Onuoha joined the family to celebrate his Silver Jubilee and thanksgiving service of his ordination into Anglican Priesthood.
The Special thanksgiving service which was well attended by dignitaries including the Speaker Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji and the Bishop of Umuahia Diocese; Rt. Rev. Geoffrey Obijuru Ibeabuchi among other special guests.
Speaking at the Service, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji thanked God for His mercies on the life of Ven. Onuoha whom he described as his long time friend and brother.
The Speaker said it was a thing of joy seeing his brother climb the ladder of priesthood in the Anglican family.
“You have always stood out in your calling. Your hard work and sheer determination is the reason the Almighty God is lifting you to greatness; you are a go-getter and I pray that you continue to grow in service of the Lord so we can come together in the future to celebrate your Golden Jubilee” the Speaker said.
After joining the celebrant to cut his Silver Jubilee cake, the Speaker prayed that God continue to guide and protect the family of Ven. Ikedi.
In a vote of thanks, the celebrant thanked the Speaker for coming to identify with him on his special day and prayed God to continue to bless him in all his endeavours.
